The airport power vehicle is driven by a diesel engine and generates electricity using a brushless generator. It can output a 400Hz, 115V/200V three-phase four-wire AC power supply to the outside. An internal transformer rectifier is installed, which can output a DC 28V power supply for aircraft ground power connection and engine starting.
Operators must have the corresponding qualifications and be able to use the GPU in accordance with the aviation ground operation manual and the procedures approved by the aircraft manufacturer to complete the operations of connecting the aircraft and supplying power to it.
The performance, service life, and reliability of the airport power vehicle are closely related to its correct use, operation, and regular maintenance. Due to the significant differences in the usage environment conditions of the airport power vehicle, the maintenance personnel can decide the maintenance time and content based on the actual situation, local conditions, and practical experience. The maintenance of the vehicle chassis, engine, and generator should be carried out in accordance with the relevant maintenance chapters in the "N Series VI Light Truck User Manual", "Engine Operation and Maintenance Manual", and "Generator User Manual".
